Killian, an orphan left to the system to protect him, was put into an awful situation at the age of 8. I love it when an author creates such vivid scenes and characters. It was one of those books that made a movie play in my head as I was reading. The characters come alive with all of the action and frightening situations. Second, I had to share the love to the writer, LJ Andrews. Wow! What a journey this was! First of all, I really enjoyed this book. The series will take fantasy fans on an unforgettable journey they will read again and again.
